A PROFILE OF DIABETIC RETINOPATY PATIENTS RECEIVING GREEN LASER FROM 2015 TO 2019 IN D.I.KHAN DIVISION, PAKISTAN

ABSTRACT: Background: Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is one of the leading cause blindness worldwide and laser therapy has a basic role in control diabetic retinopathy. Green therapies are performed both for proliferative macular edema. The aim our study was to determine frequencies different stages patients undergoing setup. Materials & Methods: This descriptive conducted at department Ophthalmology, Gomal Medical College, D.I.Khan, Pakistan from January 2015 December 2019.The sample consisted all green procedures during this period Eye Unit, DHQ Teaching Hospital D.I.Khan Pakistan. Results: Out total 1,893 2019, 1,011 were male 882 female. 969 (51.1%) having relatively early DR, 676 (35.7) had advanced DR 248 (13.1%) edema (DME). Conclusion: Laser frequently needed eye disease so keeping mind burden facilities should be expanded
